Backpack Ahead 48+

When every gram counts in trekking: the lightweight trekking backpack offers high carrying comfort for minimal weight, ideal for fast hikes and pilgrimage. The ultralight trekking backpack is padded to relieve the back: the cutout at the lower back reduces pressure on the sacroiliac joint and prevents back pain. The load is optimally distributed with Tergolight Comfort Space. It is possible to adjust the back length as well as the load reminder. The airy Ergoshape shoulder straps of the Ahead 48+ provide enough freedom for the arms during steep climbs thanks to their special shape. An energy bar or mobile phone can be kept handy in pockets located on the straps and hip belt. A water bottle, hat, etc., can be retrieved from the elastic side pockets without taking off the backpack. Poles can be attached while walking. Wet equipment can be stored in the spacious front compartment to dry thanks to the mesh inserts. The variable daisy chain allows for carrying a helmet and crampons. The top-loading backpack has a special compartment for the hydration bladder. The spare loop on the top strap can replace broken buckles on the way. The adjustable and removable hood increases the volume by 8 L and can also be worn as a bum bag. The material of the Ahead 48+ consists of a blend of 100% recycled polyester and polyamide with a 62% bio-based content from castor oil – an ultra-light, tear-resistant, and durable material.
